Nominally speaking, I'm not the world's biggest dark-beer fan. It's tough for me to sit down and suck back three or four stouts or porters in one sitting. The heaviness, whether real or perceived, begins to weigh on my tongue like a sumo wrestler. But this treat, from Michigan's Dark Horse, tread a tasty middle ground.
